Collections in a particular First Nations language are entered under the appropriate heading, e.g.: Cree prose literature. Collections in a particular non-First Nations language are entered under the heading First Nations prose literature qualified by the language, e.g.: First Nations prose literature (English). 2: May also be subdivided geographically by Canadian region, province, city or other jurisdiction for collections of prose literature written in First Nations languages by First Nations authors in a particular location, e.g.: First Nations prose literature–Ontario–Toronto. 3: Chronological subdivisions may be added, e.g.: First Nations prose literature–20th century.
